Every year Inktober roles around since Jake Parker invented this monumental challenge to draw every day in October. I always intend to participate and set myself up mentally for the challenge. However, by the time October rolls around, I am so busy I cannot stick with the challenge. This year I decided instead of doing Inktober, I would paint an oil painting. Small wins. For someone who works two jobs, even one painting is a commitment.
