Poshmark China Scams Rampant

This week alone I received 3 emails a day from scammers on Postmark looking to steal money from people. Each one was worded slightly different, but the goal was the same. They all wanted to mail me a check for an item I had for sale on Postmark. Normally I wouldn’t get mad about it. However, after having these emails fill my inbox this week day after day, I began to just not respond to them any more.

I’m posting this so that no one else falls for these emails. At first it was so exciting to get an email from someone who wanted my art. I’ve been working toward being a full-time artist for over 3 years. After reading the email I felt discouraged and upset that I was receiving so many false leads from Postmark. My hopes were up and I felt positive about starting a Poshmark shop, until I realized I was getting the attention of China.

I decided to post this because I’m worried others are falling for these scams. It’s terrible what these people are doing. Please see the email below as an example. If you receive anything like this, don’t send money or products to them because their check will not clear at your bank.
