New Calla Lily Sticker available in my shop

I’ve had this fascination with painting calla lilies for a while. I love them. Truly I hate white flowers, because they remind me of death. I know death is a part of our reality, but it is one I do not like to think about. You could blame it on trauma or anything you want. It’s just not a topic I enjoy. However, these calla lilies struck a chord with me. I think I was fascinated with painting a white flower, because someone told me it was hard to paint them. How do you paint white? It’s surprisingly easy. If you focus on painting shadows and shapes, these white flowers become a snap.
