I designed this cover using watercolors and a splatter technique. The history department at California State University, Fullerton commissioned this journal cover design for their yearly issue of the Welebaethan. The journal has earned best student journal 10 years in a row. 

After painting the cover using watercolors I scanned the painting and added design elements in Photoshop. I loved doing this project because of how it turned out. As far as the output and sample of the journal, I did not care for the paper they selected for printing the book, but I had no control over the selection process.
